People should buy a lot of Fair Trade chocolate so that we farmers here will get premium to support our income. Through this we can send our children to school; live in good houses; take care of ourselves and our family; and contribute to the development of the world.

Trade could help solve poverty


CWS is calling for major change in the way trade rules are formulated. Trade rules are helping to force millions of people further into poverty and allowing a handful of people to become very rich. Trade should benefit people and not undermine the precarious existence of those living with poverty.
