Zimbabwe in Crisis
Save Zimbabwe? As the situation in Zimbabwe deteriorates Zimbabweans develop increasingly complicated mechanisms to survive - if they can. The drop in living conditions within the country is unequalled. It has the world's highest rate of inflation and its citizens are abandoning their homeland in a desperate attempt to survive. CAII wants to keep you informed of developments and encourages you to respond through prayer and action. CWS, a long term partner of the Zimbabwe Council of Churches, is also supporting the local campaign to Save Zimbabwe and people working with those who are impoverished by the steady collapse of the economy.
CAII intends to update this site on a monthly basis with stories and reports of what is happening. Feedback is welcome - please contact mandla-akhe@cws.org.nz
